WHO’S1ST?

How WHO’S 1ST? rankings work

WHO’S 1ST? is a competitive advertising ranking marketplace. It is not an objective quality rating, a revenue league table or an official industry authority. A brand ranks #1 because it out-competed others on this platform — nothing more.

Power decides rank

Every listing has a Power score built from two inputs:

  • Paid Power — advertising spend, at 100 Power per $1.
  • Community Power — free public Support, capped so that money alone never decides the whole board.

Taking a rank

Every position has a public price. To take a rank, a listing must exceed the Power of the listing above it. The minimum entry spend is $1, and there is no maximum — advertisers choose any amount above the minimum.

Categories and countries

One payment ranks a listing everywhere it is eligible: globally, in its category, in its country, and in its country × category board. Local boards never cost extra.

Freshness

Ranks recalculate when a payment is confirmed or new Support arrives. Public pages are cached for performance, so a cached page can trail live Support by a few minutes.
